What is Retirement Coaching?

You have spent a lifetime preparing for the day when you have the freedom to shift your focus from career and responsibility to that next thing. Accumulating a bucket list, enjoying a sport, travel, relocation...these are all pretty common next steps once we separate from our career identities. The funny thing is, some people find they are not content, something is missing and they are interested in figuring it out. Retirement Coaching is a process of looking at 15 life aspects that directly affect happiness and contentment in retirement. If some aspects are out of balance, we may not be able to enjoy our best self in this new phase of life. The purpose of Coaching is threefold: design a vision, design a plan that supports what makes each individual client happy; support the client's pathway to making the plan happen.

Measure It

Step one of Retirement Coaching is assessing your retirement readiness. You will take an assessment measuring the 15 factors that determine a satisfying retirement to see where you need to put in some discovery work. We have found that creating data about you is a great place to start the process.

Plan It

Once your personal retirement inventory is created, you begin work on action items that lead you to your Life Development Plan for Retirement,  Bucket list, family legacy, civic participation, sports.

Live it

Now you get to do the fun stuff: live the plan you have designed. The Coaching relationship is fluid so periodic check-ins to update the vision
